COUPLES INTENSIVETwo people,
one concentrated
turning point.
A 2.5-day immersive experience designed to shift the patterns that weekly sessions can't reach — for couples navigating breakdown, and for couples ready to go further.
WHY an intensive?______
What weekly sessions can't always reach.
Fifty minutes, once a week — and by the time the session ends, you're just getting somewhere. You re-stabilize between appointments. The pattern re-sets. You come back the following week and start again.
The intensive format exists because some relational dynamics — the cycles that have been running for years, the resentments that have calcified, the communication habits so ingrained neither partner sees them anymore — require sustained, uninterrupted work to move.
Over 2.5 days, we go somewhere together that a session can't take you. The container holds. The work accumulates. Things shift that don't shift otherwise.
The couples who benefit most aren't the ones in the worst shape — they're the ones willing to stay in the room long enough to see what's actually happening between them.
The Couples Intensive is available for two distinct purposes — repair and growth — and the framework adapts to where you are. Both paths are legitimate. Both require the same willingness.
TWO PATHS, ONE FRAMEWORK______
Where are you in your relationship right now?
for couples navigating ruptureSomething needs to change — now.
You're not necessarily at the end. But you're at a point where the same patterns keep surfacing, the same wounds keep reopening, and the relationship as it is cannot continue in the same direction. You've tried talking about it. It doesn't hold. Something more fundamental needs to shift.
This track is for couples carrying the weight of accumulated disconnection — partners who want to stop managing the damage and actually repair it.
Recurring conflict cycles that don't resolve
Communication that consistently breaks down or escalates
Resentment and emotional distance that has built over time
Feeling unseen, unheard, or chronically misunderstood
Trust that has been damaged and needs honest repair
Contempt, withdrawal, or shutdown that has become the default
One or both partners questioning whether to stay
for couples seeking growthThe relationship is good. You want it to be exceptional.
Not every couple comes to an intensive in crisis. Some come because they've built something real together — and they want to understand it more deeply, remove the subtle friction that accumulates even in healthy relationships, and invest in what they have before it needs repair.
This track is for couples who are functioning well and want to go further — to bring more intention, more depth, and more ease to the relationship they've worked to build.
Deepening emotional intimacy and authentic connection
Identifying and clearing low-grade patterns before they grow
Developing shared language for navigating conflict well
Uncovering blind spots neither partner can see from the inside
Building a deliberate vision for the relationship going forward
Major transition — new chapter, life change, or milestone ahead
Investing in the relationship as a proactive act of care
HOw it works______
The structure of the experience
Every intensive is custom-built around the two of you — your history, your goals, and the specific dynamics at work. The structure below is the consistent framework. What happens inside it is tailored.
01
Pre-Intensive IntakeAn individual session with each partner, followed by a joint session. We map the relational system, identify the central patterns, and set the goals for the intensive before we begin.
02
day one: thursdayAfternoon and evening. We open the container, establish the working framework, and begin the first layer of structured relational work. Context is built. The pattern becomes visible.
03
day two: full fridayThe core of the intensive. Sustained facilitation drawing on somatic, systemic, and depth-oriented approaches. This is where the real movement happens — the day that makes the intensive worth doing.
04
day three: saturdayMorning into midday. Integration, consolidation, and forward-building. We close the intensive with clear agreements, practices to carry forward, and a post-intensive plan.
what's included______
Everything in the container.
Pre-Intensive assessmentIndividual intake sessions with each partner plus a joint pre-intensive session. Relational mapping, goal-setting, and preparation before the intensive begins.
Somatic & Mindfulness IntegrationBody-based and mindfulness practices woven throughout — not as add-ons, but as central tools for working with the nervous system and accessing what cognitive conversation alone can't reach.
2.5-Day Facilitated IntensiveFull facilitation across Thursday afternoon, all-day Friday, and Saturday morning. Structured sessions, experiential exercises, psychoeducation, and direct depth work.
Post-Intensive MaterialsA written summary of key insights, agreements, and practices developed during the intensive. Something concrete to hold and return to after the experience ends.
Custom Session DesignThe intensive framework is built around your specific relational system — not a curriculum applied uniformly. Your patterns, your goals, your pacing.
Post-Intensive Integration SessionA joint session within 30 days of the intensive to consolidate the work, address what has surfaced, and support the transition into ongoing practice or continued therapy.

AN HONEST NOTE______
Is this the right fit?
The intensive format is not appropriate for every couple, and I take the screening process seriously. The consultation is not a formality — it's how we both assess whether this is the right container for where you are.
Couples who tend to get the most from this:
Both partners are genuinely willing to engage, even if uncertain
There's a shared acknowledgment that something needs to change
Neither partner is using this as a final ultimatum without personal investment
You're able to commit to 2.5 days fully — no partial attendance
You're willing to be uncomfortable and stay in the room with it
You're seeking depth, not validation for a position you've already decided on
This may not be the right fit if:
One partner is participating under duress with no genuine investment
Active untreated substance use or mental health crisis is present
There is ongoing domestic violence or safety concerns in the relationship
The decision to separate has already been made and is not up for reconsideration
If you're not sure whether you're ready, that uncertainty is worth bringing to a consultation rather than using as a reason not to reach out. Readiness is rarely total — and what "ready enough" looks like is something we can assess together.
Take the First StepThe consultation is where we figure out the rest.
We'll talk about where you are, what you're looking for, and whether this is the right fit — for both of us. No pressure. No commitment. Just a conversation.
