About Greg

I'm Greg Young — a licensed marriage and family therapist, professional coach, and facilitator based in Flagstaff, Arizona.

I hold a master's degree in counseling and depth psychology, and I've spent my career working with individuals and families at some of the most difficult junctures of their lives. My approach is direct, grounded, and integrative. I don't believe in indefinite processing without movement. I believe in understanding the architecture of what isn't working — and doing something about it.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Working with me might be a good fit if:

  • You're high-functioning in most areas of your life, but struggling in your closest relationships

  • You’ve tried therapy before, but it stayed at the level of insight, coping, or symptom management — without reaching the deeper patterns underneath.

  • You and your partner keep having the same fight, despite your best efforts to communicate differently.

  • You keep finding yourself in familiar relational patterns, even though you understand intellectually that you want something different.

  • You’re in a transition — personally, professionally, or relationally — and the ways you’ve relied on to navigate life no longer feel sufficient.

Let’s see if we are a good fit.

Consultations don’t have a strict time amount; sometimes 20 minutes is enough, and sometimes our conversation needs a little more time. I care more about making our first conversation genuinely useful to both of us than about keeping it to a predetermined number of minutes.
